Which mattress topper is right for me?
Both toppers are 10cm deep and 1000 GSM. The difference is the sleep surface:
- The Deep Sleep Hotel Mattress Topper has a dense fibre-filled surface that holds warmth against you. If your bedroom runs cold, or you always reach for another layer, this is the right one.
- The Cooling Bamboo Mattress Topper has a 100% bamboo viscose surface that draws moisture away and lets air move through the fabric. If you sleep hot, get night sweats, or kick the covers off at 3am, this is the right one.
Will a topper fit my bed?
Both come in single, small double, double, king and super king. Elastic corner straps at all four corners hold them in place and stretch to fit standard-depth mattresses. Sizes are on each product page.
Will a topper fit my existing fitted sheets?
Adding 10cm to your mattress means snug fitted sheets may no longer reach the corners. If your current sheets are a tight fit, have a deep-pocket set ready before yours arrives.
When is a topper not the answer?
If your mattress sags in the middle, or you sink into it and wake with lower back pain, a soft topper will make things worse — your hips drop further and your spine stays misaligned. In that case you need a firmer surface or a new mattress. A topper is for a bed that is structurally sound but too firm, too flat, or simply past its best.
What is the difference between your percale and linen bedding?
Percale is a crisp, cool weave in long-staple organic cotton — structured against the skin, refreshing to sleep in, and great for regulating temperature. Linen is looser and softer from night one, pulls moisture away naturally, and gets softer with every wash. Both are natural fibres; the choice is a feel preference.
Can I return bedding?
For hygiene reasons, bedding cannot be returned once the seal is opened, unless the item is faulty. This is why we over-explain size, weight, warmth and fabric on every product page — it is better to work it out before the wrapper is off. If you are between options, email us before you order.
How do I care for a topper?
Machine washable on a gentle cycle — no dry cleaning. Single and small double fit most home machines. Double and larger need a 9kg drum or a trip to the launderette; forcing a large topper into a small machine is what causes the fill to clump. Tumble dry on low with a couple of dryer balls or clean tennis balls to keep the fill even. Make sure it is dry all the way through before it goes back on the bed.
